January 8. Night Hike - Owl Calling.  6:00pm

Learn the different owl calls and do some practice calling.  Then hike in Langwood Ed Center woods and end with hot chocolate.  More details go to www.naturallylouisacounty.com

January 26. Youth Ice Fishing Derby 11:00 to 2:00

February 2. Extreme Adventures: Sub-Zero Survival.  11:00am to 2:00pm

6th thru 8th grade. Come out to Langwood for a few hours of winter survival shelter building.  Then warm up with a campfire.  Wear warm clothing and in layers.  Register by calling 319-523-8381 or email btiller@lccb.org.
 

February 2. Wild Game Feed.  6:00pm

Wild Game Feed sponsored by Tri-Rivers Conservation Foundation, Louisa County Ikes and Louisa County Conservation.   At Louisa County Ikes Clubhouse at 10892 County Road X61, Wapello, Iowa.  Starting at 6:00 pm.  Free will donation.  Come and enjoy quail, pheasant, turtle, turkey elk, beaver, deer and fish.  For more information call 319-523-8381 or www.tri-rivers.org.

February 23. Tri-Rivers RUSH auction.  6:30 to 9:00pm 

The annual Tri-Rivers Conservation Foundation fund raiser to benefit the Louisa County Interpretive Center.  Come and enjoy live and silent aucitons, raffle, appetizers and dessert buffet.  More information visit www.tri-rivers.org.

March 2. Hike Wildcat Den.  10:00am to 3:00pm

Experience Wildcat Den State Park as we hike unique geological features such as "Steamboat Rock", "Devil's Punch Bowl" and "Fat Man's Squeeze".  Bring a sack lunch, water bottle and dress in layers.   Registration required and limited to 13 children.  To registar call 319-523-8381 or email btiller@lccb.org.
